For Sale: Mermaid Central Air Conditioner 16.5k BTU $550

Mermaid 16,500 BTU Air Conditioner. This unit is in perfect working order. It circulates raw water and was installed under the v-berth. It kept our 40 cool on 90 degree days. I had it serviced and bench tested a couple months ago in preparation for a cruise. During that service I had them remove the reversing valve since I didn't want any trouble in the islands and wouldn't need the heat option. The valve is easily replaced however. We've been using it daily as we work on the boat but recently removed it for more storage. Besides my 2000 watt generator really struggles to run it, so we opted for the hatch mounted version instead. It has pumps and hoses with it. I believe it's an early 2000 model so I'm just looking to lighten my load a bit. $550 or best offer. I have a phone pic I can send for anyone with the capabilities. Located in Stuart, Florida.

That's a good price. Are you selling the March (usually) AC pump that goes with it, customarily?

My husband says it has all the pumps that make it work. It is a GREAT working unit and we just pulled it from our boat. Hope this answers your question.

This AC unit has the standard magnetic pump. I don't know if it's the March brand or not. It was made in the USA though. There are no other distinguishable markings on the pump. It also has the strainer as well.
