Mariner 31' Ketch

I am selling my Mariner 31' Auxiliary Cruising Ketch, 1969, built by Far East Yacht Builders in Japan.
LOA-37 (with bow sprit)
LWL 25.6
Beam 9.9
Draft 3.9
Sail Area 469 sq. ft
Displacement 11,500 lbs

I call Isabella a "freak of nature". For her size-range she is strong, safe, and comfortable at sea. She performs well in both light and heavy winds. She is an extremely forgiving boat and would be the perfect cruising boat for either a single-hander or a couple. She is made of extra thick fiberglass-reinforced polyester resin hull with 1/2" Polyurathane insulation, which keeps temperature inside comfortable in any type of weather. Deck is plywood covered with fiberglass. I have personally sailed this boat around the Hawaiian Islands, across the Pacific Ocean from Hawaii to Canada, and down the West Coast to San Francisco where she currently rests on the hard in the Napa Valley Marina.

In the past year, the boat has undergone a major refit and upgrade: newly painted Awl Grip exterior (hull) and Interior paint, interior and exterior wood refinishing, epoxy painted bilge, installed new depth sounder, new bronze prop, new cushions and upholstery, and much more.

This boat is fully equipped for cruising with strong ground tackle, multiple sails for varying wind conditions, Norvane Wind Vane, two solar panels, plenty of spare parts, a radar, vhf, and stereo.
In the 10 years that I have owned her, I have completely rebuilt this boat from the ground up:
-Replaced all of the electrical wiring and panel,
-New chain plate 08
-New aluminum main and mizzen 06
-Running and standing rig including all stay locks 06
-Epoxy sealed and barrier coated interlux 2000 04
-Yanmar 50 4jh series
-New fuel tank 44 gal
-44 # bruce anchor with 150 ft 3/8th chain 150 ft ¾ Sampson braid main anchor
-25 # plow 50 ft 5/16 chain and 200 ft rode
-20 # danforth with 20 ft 5/16 chain
-All bronze opening ports
-Raymarine chart plotter and radar system 08
-400 watt wind gen and 90 watts of solar in two panels battery charger and regulators link 2000 battery monitor 08
-Life raft, 406 epirb hard dingy 9.9 and 5 horse out boards
-Water heater and diesel heater and 40 e water maker

This boat has been so good to me and I hope that someone will love her the way that I have. I am asking 25,000. Please PM me if you are interested. Thanks!
