Want To Buy: Lewmar st 43 upper crown

I am looking for the upper crown of a lewmar st 43 1980's version.
Lewmar no longer makes this.

When you say upper crown, do you mean the cap on the top? Mine had there caps that 4 Allen screws set in that was plastic and gave way. I took it to a machine shop and had them make duplicates out of stainless. Not cheap, but really made it look nice!

It is part #15000414 not the top cap which is #15000379
Winchspares can make it for $105.55 delivered from England. On my last effort before paying that much cash,I am hoping that maybe somebody has one of this winches around for parts and can provide the part cheaper. Or maybe someone has fabricated one and can provide some advice.

Looks like you need the upper gripper for the self tailing jaws. A bit complex to custom machine with the raised ridges.
