LeComte Fastnet 45 $120,000

Lightheart, our Fastnet 45 is now for sale. We have lived aboard and cruised her for ten years along the west coast of Canada, Calif., Mexico, the South Pacific Islands to New Zealand and Australia. Lightheart has been well maintained by the owner who is a professional mechanic. She is equipped for long range cruising and comes ready to go. She's sloop rigged with a removable cutter stay. She is a 1974 model and measures 45'6" x 12'4" x 6'9". The hull is solid fiberglass and the deck is fiberglass with a air-x core . ballast is external lead, 9000 pounds

Beautiful boat. IIRC, John Harries' original Morgans Cloud (before the McCurdy & Rhodes) was a Fastnet 45.

We enjoy cruising but have decided after 10 years living aboard that maybe we should do something else. So yes our beautiful boat is for sale
