Kathrian is a Corbin 39 currently cruising the
Caribbean. She is simply the BEST Corbin 39 currently on the market. She has been extensively upgraded with long distance cruising and comfort in mind. No expense was spared during the retrofit process.
Sails are less than 3 or 4 years old and both the
Jib and Stay sail are on new
Harken roller furler gear for ease of sailing. The full batten main sail was built by Mack
Sails in 2012 and is mounted on a
Harken track. All control lines are led back to the
cockpit through heavy duty Garhauer
Marine blocks. Sail control
equipment includes HD Garhauer
Boom Vang and Traveller. Main sail reefing is
accomplished by reliable double lines leading to
cockpit through
rope clutches and robust Arco Hutton 35
Self tailing winches.
Duel
steering is provided by Jeffa shaft
steering system resulting in a remarkably light handling
helm.
The new 75hp
Volvo Penta (1700hrs) fitted in 2010 provides quiet reliable power to spare through a 21" Varifold feathering propellor. All
electronics are upgraded and of reliable manufacturers.
She is equipped with a 40gal/hr
watermaker, 305watt of
Solar Panels and a
Wind Generator making dependance on
marinas completely unnecessary.
Her
interior is spacious and airy and bright. She is done in a light maple finish adding to her modern and pleasing
interior.
She is a quick, reliable long distance cruiser with far too many attributes to list in this post.
This is NOT a project boat. She is ready to change owners and simply continue cruising short or long distances. She is priced well below her actual value and realistically for her condition as well as a quick
sale.
