wow, is that all the water these move? no wonder pumping out my full bilge takes 5-8 min.

You may be used to other pumps which advertise gal/hour. This one pumps 10.8 gal/min, or 600+ gal/hour.

i have the same type of pump, i think its original to the yacht.(1981) good reliable units.
