Inflatable Compact RIB 310

Selling a compact rib 310, west marine, folding transom.
This is a solid double, fiberglass floor, sells for $1899.00 , on sale for $1500.00 Its only 4 months old, used on our trip to catalina and only put in the water about 6 times.. still in new condition..
Selling it for $800.00...

We are on the west coast in the California delta, WE WILL NOT SHIP, due to its size... This is the model that folds down and goes into a bag like a large surf-board..

Send me an e-mail at RandyOnR3@gmail.com

Somehow we mis-placed the seat but will include the 12 volt inflator pump at No additional cost..
The pump was another $130.00

Randy,

For the sake of the exercise, why have you decided to sell? Weight? Size? Other?

Over the years, we've found that we love sailing more than we do the rigors of full time cruising. and again this last voyage proved to us that the cruising of years past, at least here on the west coast are gone.
Even to the fact that places like Port San luis where there was a FREE anchorage, in an open roadstead, has now gone under the opperations of the harbor district and you are being charged to anchor there.
Our trip to the Islands was about the same, as many of the open anchorages in coves and such that were once open to anchor have now been taken over by mooring fields with large signs ashore stating, "Call for Fees To Anchor".
And even as Yacht Club members, we're finding that places like Morro Bay does not grant any privaliges to visiting yacht club members without a price attached.
So as all things, times are a changing, but we were lucky to have been around a number of years ago before all the changes happened..
So as far as the dinghy, it worked great for what we intended it to do but as we get older, and maybe a little wiser, we'll keep our cruising limit to a few days up to Drakes bay or down to Half Moon Bay.. Other than that, we'll sail the bay and the delta and tied to a dock at night, at least most of the time..

By the way, while at anchor at Half moon bay a couple weeks ago, I look out the side window one morning to see Coyote come cruising throu the anchorage and around us.. gave them a shout and they said they were on their way down to Santa Cruz..

using my grandsons computer as "Fast Cruiser... Cant seem to get RandyOnR3 logged in on this thing..

Randy--

It's time for you to quit Taxifornia. Keep the dinghy. Sail southeast until you get to Panama, hang a left, pass through the Canal, hang another left and sail northeast until you pass Isla, than bear right heading eastnortheast, reaching across the easterlies/westerlies (in turn) until you get to Tampa. Our anchorages are numerous, free and the water's warm enough to swim in.

We saw the writing on the wall in '91. The place was being taken over by the Gimme's and the Yaoweme's. We left and with only one exception virtually all our friends have by now quit the place, moving home, family and business to more amiable/less costly climes.

Think about it....

No offense, I know this is about selling, but I couldn't resist. To this guy talking about how great FL is, have you read the news in the last 6 months? OK, that is all. Good luck with your sale.
