personally i would go for a smaller one,they fit better in a suitcase,and don't take up as much space in your cabin..................,though an 8ft skandinavian one could be fun.....

Check the larger local marinas. They have dinghy racks and sometimes people don't pay their bills.

I have a Novamarine. I think it is 3.05 meters. It is rated for 4 people and up to 10 HP. It is in Miami. I had it inflated on the dock for a month and it stayed full.
