For Sale: Icom M710 Marine HF Radio

I bought this radio, with an AT-130 tuner, off Ebay several months ago. I set it up on my sailboat and successfully talked with Hams and even sent and received test emails through Winlink. I never could get the radio to tune the tuner, so I sent it to a certified Icom repair shop in Florida. They reported back that the radio was overmodulating and was not generating a carrier signal. The repair would start with replacement of the power amplifier transistors at a cost of about $450. This unit is being sold as-is with no expressed or implied warranty. I really don’t know the condition other than what I’ve described here. Asking $500, including shipping within the continental U.S. Other offers will be considered. I saw on EBay yesterday that there were several Icom 710's for around $500 that were in much better condition than mine, so I've reduced the asking price to $200 plus shipping. Again, this radio receives just fine and does transmit to some degree. Surely someone could use it as a spare, for parts, or just for tinkering.
