Want To Buy: Hylas 47 or Stevens 47

I'm in the market for a three cabin blue water capable cruising sailboat. Does anyone own, or know somebody who owns a Hylas 47 or Stevens 47 interested in selling through a private sale? Ideally, I'm looking for a boat ideally located on the West Coast of North America, or potentially anywhere in North America or Mexico.

I sailed on a Stevens 47 (Arielle) in 2009 from Saint Maarten to (and thru) the Panama Canal. The owner was sailing home to New Zealand and was hoping to sell it there for $220K (US). There's been one sitting in Annapolis for months - it was listed for above $100K but I last saw it at $89K and just heard that it is finally under contract (only saw it from the outside so don't know what condition it was in).

Just thought I would give you some price ranges. I did like the Stevens 47 and only wish Stevens or Hylas made a 42'!

Hylas did make a 42. You can find a couple listed on Yachtworld. The 42 is the only aft cockpit model they have ever made.

Thanks for pointing out that Hylas did make a 42' but I am looking for a center cockpit for around $100K.

Bill - Thanks for bringing my attention to the 44'. That might work. There's a nice one well appointed in Florida but unfortunately beyond my budget.
