good bit of kit,but doesn't compare with a full size table saw for cutting full sized8x4 boards accurately , square and quickly
or for dados

Before rough lumber ever gets to one of 4 table saws, one edge gets straightened using the Festool and 10' track.

it has its uses, but when dealing with faced board costing $200-300 a sheet and wanting accurate, consistent sized smaller boards, without chipping edges and slight differing diamentions it is not the tool for the job

Au contraire. It is precisely the right tool for straightening the first edge of expensive boat building lumber, prior to running it through the table saw. The reason it works so well for this is that you simply lay the straightedge along the rough edge, visually aligning it; it needs no clamps or measuring/setup, and won't slide around--it cuts exactly on your marks.
And for cutting panels from veneered plywood, it can't be beat--chip-free cuts on both sides. Especially handy for one guy working alone. Still, the OP's project needs shop space.

I'm not disputing that it is a great all round tool, just that for a job like this where you might need to make up 30 IDENTICAL boards with mitres and dados, for example, bigger equipment is needed, and shop space.
apart from that the op wants to use lightweight foam cored boards which puts precision cutting into the realm of CNC router and lazer cutters for composite materials if you want accurate cuts using special blades etc
these techniques are also a bit beyond your average woodworker imho.....as well so the point is moot
here is one I built a few years ago using these techniques
