What holes? Lemme see..found a pic:

The sail bag is completely open at the bottom, with just a bit of webbing between the side panels, and rests on the boom. No tracks, no holes.

The lines are made to the bag itself, and then as you can see, they merely go round the bag and are tied to each other under the boom, which is what holds the thing onto the boom. Sail is loose-footed.
