Galley Sink

Looking for a galley sink for my Challenger 32' sailboat.
Measurements are 25" x 16" double bowl.

Thanks,

Re: Galley Sink

Hold on to your wallet and do a search for either Scandvik or Eljer. You'll find several sources and sizes. But they are very expensive. Another option would be to look at Lowe's for a wetbar granite sink. They aren't exactly the right size, but maybe you could modify the galley counter.

After I looked at the prices for a bit, I opted to patch the couple small holes using JB Weld. Hoping to get a few years more service that way.

good luck

Re: Galley Sink

I am also sink shopping, so I hope you find your sink - it's not as easy as it would seem. DCGSAILING's sounds about right because it is 10" deep. You didn't mention your depth requirements, but the deeper the sink the better on any sailboat, and 10" is at about the right minimum for large sinks such as you require. Sinks from Lowes or Home Depot can be considerably shallower. Even 8" is too shallow in my opinion. My wife wisely points out that your largest cooking pot must be able to fit into it; (just fit into it, not be submerged in it).
