It would have more visibility if you had included the words, "Marine", "HF", and "SSB" in the title. Example: "Furuno FS1503 Marine HF/SSB NIB"

Also, a lower starting price would help. There are lots of new 1503s on eBay, NIB w/tuners, for around $2K.

Good luck,

Bill

Thanks

Thanks for the tip. Will do if it doesn't sell. Add the information...not the lower price. This is new in the box and $600 less than the cheapest on-line sale price/auction. I paid $2500 but the economy has kicked my behind as a contractor and now my cruising vessel is for sale. I never installed the radio so I know there has to be a cruiser who wants one of these....they won't find it cheaper anywhere.

You might also highlight the facts that:

1. it comes with a matching automatic antenna coupler; and

2. it's much less than the Icom 802 which sells for a minimum online price of about $1,800 PLUS $450 for the antenna coupler, or $2,250.

Good luck,

Bill

Is it on e bay motors or home electronics? I understand the high starting price to avoid the unreasonable fees, but due to that, people will wait until the last minute to bid at all... so it might sell!

No buyers from ebay- so still for sale

It didn't sell on ebay, so the radio is still for sale. It is complete with antennae and all wiring/manuals/cables/etc... I bought it for $2500 and its never left its packaging. I will sell for $1500. Contact me if you are interested.
