Hi All,

I have a complete 1998 Fourwinds II system for parts. The generator magnets have come loose inside the generator so not working. The blades are very good shape. Has many options including the air brake, regulator and meter panel. Unit is disassembled. Parts are good condition. Very detailed manuals available too.

Let me know what you might be interested in. Will sell all or parts.

Paul welcome to cf and if you are giving it away I will take it off your hands however telling us what you want for it will likely get you some results to sell the parts.

How much for just the motor? Is in the red anodized motor?

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

The generator/motor is white. The whole unit was factory painted white. Does not appear to be red under the old white paint.

The generator is taken apart. As I had suspected the magnets had fallen off the insides of the generator as the unit would not spin. All looks OK inside with no damage. Just need to clean up, lightly sand down the commutator, install new brushes and springs and get the magnets re-epoxied.

The blade rotor shaft and pole frame is still attached to the generator as I could not get them off easily. Shop with a press could get the shaft free most likely.

Anyways, if you are still interested, $20 plus shipping.

FYI...The best item on the whole generator is the two blades. These are in good shape. $30 for the pair plus shipping.
