For Sale: 2003 Leopard 47

Due to a family emergency we are selling the boat of our dreams. The boat was bought just last month from the Moorings and went thru a full charter phaseout (everything done prior to sale). The boat was sailed back to the states. The boat had a hard top installed in the BVI and it looks great. I am eventually going to list with a broker for the upper 200's but am going to start here at 249K. This is an exceptionally deal on a 4 cabin layout, shaft drive, clean boat. There is a dinghy included.

Hi, I sent this to you as an email but I feel you didn't receive it so thought best to post a reply here.
Firstly, I'm sorry to hear you have to put your boat up for sale. To give you a little of our backgound, we are a family of 4 my wife Lisa & two sons Fin 9 and Conor 12. We are looking for a boat to sail back to NZ and possibly beyond having previously sailed from Greece to NZ (2002-2006) on a Prout Manta 39.
Unfortunately a 47 is too large for us in maintenance/upkeep/mariners/etc but we are about to contact Moorings regarding a smaller boat.
I know you obtained a lot of help off the forum and it would be really kind and hugely appreciated if you could pass on your own advice and give us a guideline on the percentage you obtained off your boat's asking price.

Here are more details on the 2003 Leopard 47, current 11/21/09 hours on stbd eng. 4886, port 6370, genset 9370, has good A/C, everything works as survey was performed and all fixed 10/09. Some items included new salon windows, new hardtop, new sump pump, new bilge pump, etc. Please see pictures of outside in my profile, I will try and get more pics next time I see boat. Hello,is your cat still for sale?I am a cash buyer and have owned a Leopard 45 and sailed for 2 years as live aboards with my family.we sold our boat in 2004 and are ready to cruise again.
