After seven years and over 10,000 miles, I'm selling my 1995 Edel 43 Cruiser S/V Happy Endings. She has just completed a three-year swing through the NW Caribbean and is a fast, capable and self-sufficient cruising cat with all the necessary equipment for living comfortably on the hook:
-5 kW Westerbeke 5.0 BCD genset
-20gph watermaker
-3 cu. ft. high-efficiency freezer
-550 watts of solar on custom aluminum arch davits
-Raymarine radar mounted on arch
-11-ft AB RIB w/ Yamaha 15 hp 2-stroke OB

Note that while the vessel is listed by a broker here in Fort Myers Beach, FL, interested forum members should contact me directly by private message for the bottom-line price and further information. I am currently doing sunset, day and weekend charters and the vessel is also available with existing business if desired. Vessel has a Jones Act small vessel waiver and Coastwise Trade endorsement for 6-pack passenger carriage. This is a requirement for foreign-built vessels and stays with the vessel document.

I talked to the owner a couple of weeks ago and he was just getting ready to close on his Edel 43, so should be sold by now. If not ill post here.

Dunno what its like in the states but the economic climate in Europe (where i am) is really bad. If he has sold it within 3-4 months he has done very well indeed!

Took me 18 months to sell my boat!

Shame because im starting to warm to the Edel 43

Just talked to him and he did sell it.
He bought the boat from us about 7 years ago. They are great boats. Fun to sail and will out sail 99% of any other cat it's size.

Yes, I did sell the boat to interests in Cancun who will be using her for day trips primarily. Kind of a shame because she was--is---a very capable, self-sustaining cruising boat but she will be making a lot of people happy, I guess. Also, I did get my price so I am satisfied from that respect.
