@ sctpc: Here's the deal for you!
(1) You pay captsam54 the 16.5 K he is asking......
(2) You pay me the difference of $ 13.5K and I'll deliver her to Australia for you
Result: She's yours for $ 30K
:-)

This boat has developed a lot of interest around here. I have already turned down 15 grand. The price is $16, 500.00 Somebody will take her before the month is out.. And I bet she is a lot closer to you than boats over on the East coast you have possibly looked at. I have people from Lauderdale who want her bad, telling me that they have looked at a lot of boats, (East and West coast) and she is the best looking and condition of any in the price range and footage. Plus she is behind my house and not at a marina, so she is not costing me any money to keep her...

yeah,... but you said you'd pay captsam the 30K .... there was no mentioning of import duties to be paid by captsam either!
Guess u where just kidding, but so was I :-) ...b'cause I dont think its fun to sail such a small "tupper ware" (no disrespect meant) to "Down Under".
But I have to admit it sure is a nice boat, a lot of value for the money (or so it would seem) and if I had a house w/dock in SW FL that one would be nice to have sitting out there

None of my business, but if you only have 15K to your name, are you sure you want to spend it all on a boat? What about the upkeep after the purchase? i'd think it would cost u another 15K per year just to keep her in shape and berthed.... (unless of course you too got a house w/dock in the backyard *grin*)

Took a deposit on the boat last week and did the survey last Friday.. Looks like the boat only had little gigs like wire nut instead of butt connector by mast connection for lights. and batts not strapped down, expired flares etc. Nothing Major at all.. Surveyor says.. He will take to S. America tomorrow..!!!
Sale is going thru before mid month..

I fugure less than $10.000 per year.. And if you have it on a mooring.. a lot less than that...
When I had my other one down in the islands.. and had my own mooring.. All she cost me for years was fuel and some simple repair here and there...
Moot point now as I have taken a deposit and expect the balance to be paid this Sunday..
The survey came out only w/ little gigs, flares, batts not strapped down, hose clamp missing etc.

This is a great boat.
