Deep Cycle Wet Cells

A bargain. We have gone to AGMs. A pair of Interstate 8Ds and a pair of Interstate 4Ds for sale. Both pair less than four months old and in excellent shape. Make offer. Located in Savannah.

Re: Deep Cycle Wet Cells

Why would you buy the 8d and sell them after only 4 months?

Re: Deep Cycle Wet Cells

We bought the boat, which had been stored in a shed for last winter. On survey, the batteries tested passable. Naturally, when we took delivery, the 8Ds failed, so they were replaced. On the way south from Rhode Island, one of the 4Ds failed, so they were replaced. Then, as we assessed our cruising "style", preferring to anchor more than to be in marinas, we concluded we needed more capacity and more charging capability than the boat had. Consequently, we revamped the system in Savannah. A long story, but a good question.

Re: Deep Cycle Wet Cells

I am in Marathon and will be until early January, then to St. Petersburg. If you want them they must be picked up in Savannah.

Re: Deep Cycle Wet Cells

If you really want to just look at them, we can work that out I suppose. They are at a yard in Savannah. If you want to buy them I would require confirmation of a Paypal transaction.

Re: Deep Cycle Wet Cells

Are these still for sale? Would you take $150 for the two 4D batteries?
