Cruising Spinnaker

I am looking for a used cruising spinnaker for the Moon Shadow (Endeavour 38, tall rig 61' tall from water line).

You need to measure the spinnaker halyard max hoist distance. That's the distance from the fully hoisted spinnaker halyard shackle to the tack at the deck (or wherever) . The luff of the spinnaker you seek must be no more than this distance. A foot or three shorter will not hurt.

Sorry Daddle -- I just forgot!!! Endeavour 38 tall rig, double spreader. I = 51, J = 16.8, P = 44.3 and, E = 12.5. If anybody out there knows of a used cruising spinnaker, I would be interested. I have looked in the sites above to no avail.

That's my story and I'm stickin to it!!!

I and J don't really say where your stem tack or halyard max hoist is. Masthead rig? But one might assume a spinnaker with a luff of 50 to 53 feet is what you want.

I is the luff. It is 51' so, anything between 50' and 55' will work.

I is the vertical of the foretriangle from shear to max hoist at the masthead. Not luff, which can be considerably greater. Often spinnaker size is unrelated to foretriangle size, such as on a fractional rig.

You want to be able to pull the luff of the spinnaker tight between the head and tack, generally. Too long is trouble.
