If you are heading to the
Mediterranean, you probably found from the
internet that american style
propane bottles are extremely hard to get filled there. After wasting a lot of time trying, I converted to the expensive but available everywhere in the
Med "CampingGas" propane/butane bottles. The kit contains the valve that screws on the Camping gas bottle, the
regulator and a short 1/4" ID hose. Just splice it in with 1/4" "hose mender" double barb. Bottle also available (free) for pick up only in Tampa, FL. Spent $140 in
Spain. Will sell for $40 plus
shipping.
