WOW indeed my friend. The finished Free Flow 46 is valued conservatively at US$600,000. I'm guessing yours is worth about what?......

But until it is finished its all just paper and speculation.

A comparable sized Schionning would possibly be worth similar money, but the plans for them are less than half the price.
WATERLINE 1480 $12,000.00
Even the new reverse bow G force is considerably cheaper
G-FORCE 1500 $20,000.00

My point indeed. If I wanted a $600,000 boat I'd go buy one.

Re: Complete Plans FreeFlow 46' catamaran

I am dissapointed that people who have responded have, without thinking about their comments, pretty much screwed my add. I have witnessed the entire construction of the first FF46, and sailed on the first boat. In my view, it is far and above the other boats mentioned. I wonder why contributors would want to bag the asking price when they are not in the market for plans, clearly know nothing about the boat, and forget that the asking price, while close to the price I paid 2 years ago when I had a reputable (overseas) builder lined, I was diagnosed with cancer, and my plans had to change, so there is room for some negotiation on the asking price as is almopst allways the case. Amazing there are still people out there who just want to post something without thought of the consequences. Well done guys!

Possibly because they seem to be very overpriced compared to any other designers plans.

As an example and in addition to the plans mentioned before
Mark Pescott's admittedly smaller 44 are $7800
Kurt Hughes 60 are $7500
Dix 47 is $5500
Simpson 47.5 is $4400
Waller 47 is $3500

What is so good about these plans you have that warrant $32,000 ?
Does the designer spend several months on the job helping with the build?
Does it include materials for the shell?

Is that right.
Perhaps you should educate us in what makes this boat so very different and superior in every way from the many other similar boats out there .

Quite correct, sorry for being an ass. I think we really trying to be helpful in suggesting no one that reads these adds would be even remotely interested in what you're offering (agh the price).

But we could be wrong! If nothing else, you've got plenty of thread bumps.
