Want To Buy: Carburetor for Yamaha 9.9 4stroke outboard

Hi There, Just wondering if anyone has a used carburetor for a 2005 Yamaha 9.9 4stroke outboard. Or perhaps somone has info about where one would find one these used. I imagine that there must be a few of these engines around in the spare parts stage, but so far i have no luck in locating one. Suggestions?

Pretty rare that a Carb actually needs replacing. Did it go missing or get physically damaged?

Which model, if it is the type with the curved air inlet pipe and autochoke. Inhale several. Yamaha sold about 3 different F9.9s in 2005

How does one inhale a Carb? ;-)

Oops, I did not inhale. I do have several of that model carb.

Try boats.net. They have recently supplied a carb for my Johnson 3.3, 1994 motor.

Yes, The caburetor was lost. Sigh. I will post the model # later today.

I was told by a Yamaha dealer that the carburetor in 9.9 models has been the same since 1987. There must be some used ones out there somewhere?

6G8-14301-03-00 or the newer version ....

Yes, I have one. Came off a good running engine with cracked waterjacket 6 months ago. $90 plus shipping.
