The CaptiFi is an extremely versatile antenna for long range connections. It's compact size and weatherproof design means it will fit almost anywhere. Easily portable, the threaded base allows easy removal and relocation with no clamps or bolts necessary.

We used this antenna in the Caribbean with great success. It was attached to the bimini top supporting tube or we found even a better mounting and that was to use a telescoping boat pole/hook with a 1" Marine Antenna Thread adapter attached.

Then we moved the antenna with boat pole/hook to different places of deck until we got the best signal on our lapbook computer. A short length of line then tied the boat pole/hook w/Antenna to the boat. The 15ft USB cable can be extended by using a 16ft active extension cable. (Active means there is a little amplifier in the cable).
