can anyone recommend a cruising guide that covers the New Jersey coast from Cape May to Sandy Hook and info on the following inlets: Atlantic City, Barnegat, and Manasquan. The first two appear to be doable but I need more info on Manasquan Inlet. My boat is a C&C 34 with a 5'11" draft. I would like to transit the coast with three stops at those inlets and finally anchor at Sandy Hook. Advise?
I would do it in one shot. If my memory serves me right it's less than 120 miles. I don't think there's a detailed cruising guide for this area but the Waterway Guide covers it.

That's the way most handle it if they don't do overnights. Each of those 3 inlets will work for you, and have marinas and anchorages so you can wait for another window if needed. Barnegat and Manasquan can be rough when the wind is against the tide, so try to time them. I can vouch for Barnegat inlet . Had to duck in here once on my way to New York . It was a washing machine , never seen anything like it , try to avoid it if there is any seas running .
