Want to Rent: Boats to Charter - Hampshire (Solent)

Hi there can anyone help? Up until last year we owned a thirty foot Moody but sold her in the August. We are based Southampton, UK. My husband is a competent sailor and we would like to charter/hire a 6 berth boat 34 ft to 40 ft for a fortnight's summer cruise in August, sailing from the Solent to the Channel Islands. I have been investigating this tonight and am somewhat staggered at prices (Am I out of touch I thought there was a recession on?) Is there anyone out there who would like to loan us their boat for a fortnight - we would obviously pay for this privelage. We are just an ordinary family who'd like to go sailing but can' stretch to £3,600 for a fortnight in August. Any suggestions welcomed!
