Re: Boat Slip for Sale or Lease

Ahoy, Thanks for viewing my ad.

Sorry, I don’t see how I can edit my ad to include the requested information.

To own:
I want $22,500.00.
BUT, I recently relocated and wish to move on with my life, so I am very motivated to sell and I am asking $19,000.00, if I was to "Lease To Own" with a balloon payment in three years.
I am willing to take $17,000.00 cash (firm!)

The Dockominium is deeded. The sum of the taxes comes to approximately $150.00/yr.
There is a monthly maintenance fee (same as association fee) of $202.00/mo. That money is there when repairs are needed in the marina, and yes, the marina maintenance guys are working 8 hrs. a day/7 days a week. They stay busy making the marina a very nice place to live.
The electric is metered and read by the marina and the tenant is billed.
Water and garbage are included in fee.
The marina asks for a 300k-liability insurance policy.

Leasing rates are:
$285.00/mo. to non-live aboard, $325.00/mo. to live aboard.
The electric is metered and read by the marina and the tenant is billed.
Water and garbage are included in fee

Again, I apologize for not being able to edit my ad.

I would like to include that I will not be continuously responding to comments on this site or via emails, likewise, I don’t respond to texts.

If you are serious and wish to live aboard here cheaper than an apartment or home on Galveston Bay, or just park your boat here, and enjoy all the marina facilities 24/7 (you will not find such facilities and location combined anywhere in the area), please feel free to give me a call to discuss how I can help you help me. This is something you can pass on to your kids. I don’t have kids.

Re: Boat Slip for Sale or Lease

I don't understand ownership of slips. If the slip is bought, how is electric and other amenities billed? What happens if the marina owner sells the marina to someone else?

Re: Boat Slip for Sale or Lease

My guess is that your purchased slip means nothing if the marina owner sells the marina.
