The two
cabin layout features two island style queen berths with plenty of
storage area. There are two heads with separate showers, full standing
headroom and good ventilation throughout. The large
saloon and
galley area provide an excellent entertainment center. The dinette easily accommodates 6 people with a table that folds down from a full sized dining table to a cocktail size center island. A very well equipped
navigation station is across form the
galley with a forward facing bench seat. The galley is located to port of the
companionway. It is a very large and workable
food preparation area with an abundance of cabinets, lockers, and drawers which make it ideal either at
anchor or underway. Front loading fridge, top loading
freezer, double s/s sink with hot and cold pressurized
water, microwave, 3 burner
propane cooker with over and broiler. Accented with granite coat countertops.
MECHANICAL SYSTEMS
Accessible under the
companionway steps, the 4JH4-TE four cylinder, turbocharged
diesel engine was renewed in November 2013.
Power is transmitted via a ZF-30
transmission to a three-bladed
bronze Maxprop with
rope cutter. The stern gland is a
Volvo water fed gland, the Cutlass bearing was renewed in December 2014. Forward is a
Lewmar TSL150 12v bow thruster with its own dedicated
battery.

CONSTRUCTION
Built in 2008 by
Beneteau U.S.A. Prince of Tides has a white haul and deck with a
navy blue bootop. The
hull is of solid, hand-laid
fiberglass construction with an internal grid system into which the bulkheads are bonded. The deck is end grained balsa cored with a molded anti-slip finish and solid lay-ups of glass in areas of high stresswinches, tracks, etc. Alloy toe rails, fin keel, spade
rudder.
