Beautiful Stainless Hawse Pipes for Larger Boats
Hey All! I just screwed up an order and ended up with SIX of these wonderful (but too big for my boat) hawse pipes. They are 316 polished stainless with the following measurements: 9 1/2" X 6 5/8" OD (inside flange), 8 1/2" X 6 1/2" OD (outside flange), 4" X 6" ID, Max. bulwark thickness: 4 7/8", uses six fasteners (not included). Check out the pics, and contact me for a great deal! Thanks, Chris

What a bummer Chris,
We remember how thoroughly you researched this item in the earlier thread.

Thanks guys! Next time I'll know to ask if 4X6 is the OD or the ID! Duh... These will be a steal for somebody though...

Re: Beautiful Stainless Hawse Pipes for Larger Boats
It looks like these can be modified to fit bulwarks that have a bit of a tapper by shaving off the end of the "snorkel" a bit?

Yup, I guess you could... I think they would be easy to fit up. Insert from the deck side, mark with a marker leaving a bit protruding, and cut off with a cut-off wheel. Clean up with a flap wheel and drill the mounting holes... BINGO! Great looking hawses... I'm only asking $75 a piece, probably 1/4 to 1/8 of the price from the store, and they are BRAND NEW!

So ...only $75 ea. you say....seems like a heck of a deal for someone doing a refit...I'm sure I've got several times that in making mine.

Re: Beautiful Stainless Hawse Pipes for Larger Boats
Have you found replacements that are closer to the size you need?
