Hi folks,

Its CRC marine corrosion inhibitor.

I read this thread. It was a bit of an experiment to see which inhibitor would perform best. "CRC Heavy Duty Corrosion Inhibitor" was one of the three that did best. It also dries on and really isn't that sticky at all.

Cheers. Happy engine spritzing.

Your boat is BEAUTIFUL.
I wish I had the cash. Recently got added a new car loan and moving expenses to HI though.

The rare opportunity to pick up a speedy seaworthy cruising boat with an unused refit on her might not be around for too much longer.

Reach out soon before she slips away.

Trades for SUVs, Florida beach property or liquor, while interesting, are not what I'm interested in. (True stories, all of them).

OMG you're killing me.

We looked a B430 on the east coast. Windows leaked like sieves, decks were soaked in some places, etc. Half the price you're asking, but hundreds of hours of work. Boat is rode hard, put away wet...very wet.

Hey, will you take machinegun parts in trade? There, now you have every offer.

Unfurtunately, we non-city people don't have the disposable income of the big city people, so I can't buy yours. So if it happens it will be serious sweat equity.

Can't believe yours isn't sold yet. New, that would be $450,000 today. For west coast neo-rich yours costs peanuts.

It's a great deal. Dammit.

Did I miss anything about your generator, water maker, A/C? Just wondering. Maybe you never needed them? Im in Florida and you have to have A/C in the summer time. This boat looks very nice for the year and the retrofit performed. Trying to make the determination as to which way to go. Mono or Cat.? Just looking for self sustaining with batteries, solar or wind power and probably genset as well. Help me with any thoughts you that are in the know.. I have always been a motor boater but have sailed with my brother on a mono. Liked it but winds were only about 10kts. Also sailed solo on 19' Prindle Cats and took right to the concept of how to fly a hull and tack according to destination. I believe I could sail this boat if it is rigged for solo as I believe you had mentioned. Any thoughts that may help with concerns I may not be aware of? I had a 100ton Masters but let it expire as I seldom saw the need to keep renewing..

Good news, I have a fresh survey available upon request. She surveyed excellently.

The surveyor noted that rhea is possibly the finest oceanis 430 out there.

Does your boat have a sail locker forward of the V Berth?
Is the refer freezer all in the same box?

Thanks,

Mark

Eliminate one suspect problem at a time so you will know what gremlin is causing the problems. The very first thing I do in trouble shooting a circuit or device/appliance is to clamp on the feed voltage/supply at the device/appliance that is giving you problems, set your dc or ac voltmeter
To min/max record and go about normal routine until the device shuts down. Check the min /max readings on the voltmeter and determine the lowest and highest voltages received at the appliance supply. If it is below or above the specked out required operating voltage, then you have determined the source voltage to be the cause or not.. You may also wish to temporarily run a set of wires from a designated unloaded circuit breaker directly to the device/appliance and reset your voltage meter to min/max again and record to see if the problem goes away.. This eliminates guessing at what is the root cause. Too Low or high voltage being the problem (the supply) or if not, then it's the device/appliance itself..

What was the question?

The internet is full of, "send additional information", send "additional photos", send survey, etc.

Unfortunately, it's the nature of the beast that you have to kiss a lot of frogs in this process.

Was that the boat south of Annapolis?

Thanks man.

Its a very time consuming process to sell a vessel. Not only that but it can get expensive. I've been getting ~3 new inquiries into Rhea per day average. Especially since I'm selling it myself and work full time, for the sake of my own time I haven't been able to entertain every inquiry. Given this, it definitely pays to try and stand out when making contact.

Owning two boats is brutal....... Especially when one needs TLC (new cat), and the other needs sold.

I wouldn't sell a used bird house to Hired Help. I've seen enough.

Cheers!
