Autoprop Self-Pitching, -Feathering Propeller

17" diameter Autoprop. LH Rotation for 1 1/4" shaft. Excellent condition. Self pitching/feathering and the best prop you can buy for thrust, fuel economy and effectiveness in reverse (amazing). All necessary parts for installation included. Ball bearing model, water lubricated.

MSRP $3200, asking $1450!

Autoprop

Sadly, not the right prop for my engine/gear ratio combo so it had to come off.

Thanks, the google monster just confirmed that it is slightly bigger than 30mm and sadly will not fit my shaft.

Evan,
looking more closely to the website, they have specific blade shape design for each engine/boat, what the exact reference of your prop ?

Chris, adapters are readily available for converting 1.25 to 30mm and associated tapers. They are about $100; ask your local prop shop.

Re: Autoprop self pitching/feathering propeller

Sorry guys, the only information I have is what I have posted. If you contact Autoprop directly with the model # H5430 they can provide more detail. They were very helpful to me.

Cheers,

Evan

Re: Autoprop Self-Pitching, -Feathering Propeller

What is the Autoprop number for the prop for sale? This is what autoprop shows for my boat which is an endeavour 40 with a Perkins 4-108. What is your gear reduction and engine? may call autoprop and see what range of props i can use.

Re: Autoprop Self-Pitching, -Feathering Propeller

AP2852LH is what is stamped into it, which means it is model H5430. 17" diameter for 1.25" shaft. It will work really well for your boat with that engine assuming you have a 2:1 transmission ratio (my boat has a 1.5:1 ratio so it is too much prop). Contact Autoprop and ask them to confirm it but it should be awesome.

Thanks (I agree that it's not an appropriate place for your opinion, you can start a new topic for that), but 1) this is not a folding prop and 2) ball bearings have proven themselves to be pretty reliable..
