For Sale: Autohelm 3000ST Autopilots

I have two Autohelm 3000ST autopilots for sale. They are complete sets except for a mounting bracket missing on one of the units. Both sets are hardly used in very good condition. I can't seem to get either one operating correctly on this boat, probably an electrical problem on the boat somewhere. $1200.00 for both or $700.00 for one. The autopilots are in St Petersburg, Fl. until mid March.

would you happen to have the wind vane accessory for either of them. why can't you get them working correctly? our's is from 95 and works flawlessly on 37 GulfStar 10 ton boat. do you have the flux gate compasses with them. usually you have to lightly clean the contacts on the power plug or put stip on the contacts to make it work. our's is set up to plug into a power plug at the transom and this usually remedies the power problem for the whole trip, about two weeks of sailing. if you do have the (a) vane would you be interested in selling same seperately

I don't have the wind vane. Sorry. As far as the operation of the AP's, they both behave the same way which tells me I have a wiring problem. I have a new AP that I will be using instead of the 3000ST.

We use an st3000 that has broken, and are looking for spares/back up - are going to be away from civilisation for long periods.
I am happy to buy both units at $1200.00, and happy to pay the postage to Australia.
