Want To Buy: ATN Spinnaker Sox

Looking to purchase a Spinnaker Sox / Snuffer (what ever you want to call it) to suit a spinnaker with 14.7 mtr luff. Ideally in Australia. Looked at the ATN and they look good. Will purchase new if I cant get on second hand. I think I can get by with something around 14 mtr. If you have one you want to get rid of please message me.

Not selling mine. Just wanted to say it is great and you'll love yours when you get one. Furling is nicer but way too expensive.

Ditto. Takes a little practice and care in stuffing the sail to get it right. But sure takes the hassle out of setting and dousing a chute... particularly when short-handed.

I'm intending to fly a symmetrical from a bridle from the fore beam on my Cat so furling is not really an option. As we will be doing this fairly short handed a sox/snuffer is really the only option, also makes it easier to jybe as you just dowse, change lines, relaunch. As I am not sure yet how much I will use it I didn't want to go spend a fortune until I get a chance to play with it. I picked up the chute on eBay at a good price and it seems in very good condition.

I may just have to bite the bullet and order a new one.

Call Etionne and order a new one... Get a genuine ATN one, the knock offs don't work 1/2 as good.

^^ Agree. I had an old snuffer before the ATN and it was not a good thing. The ATN works great.

You might want to check out Minney's Yacht Surplus in Costa Mesa California USA. They'll ship internationally and I've seen several spin socks listed on there. They have the sails well listed online and you wont beat their prices. No affiliation just a happy customer!
