For Sale: Adler Barbour 12vdc System - USED

This system was installed new in our boat in 2003, and just removed in favor of a new Frigoboat 12V system. It stopped working at the end of our Bahamas cruising last winter, and prior to that it ran nonstop without a hiccup. It has the small plate that holds 4 ice cube trays and it froze ice rock hard in 24 hours. We had it recharged and it worked again for 35 days. Our tech says it has a slow leak, probably the paint chipped away from the top of the plate (see photo). He suggested we send it in for a reman but we opted for new. Deal for anyone handy with refrigeration stuff (I'm not) or to send for reman at much less cost than new. Will ship USA only, or local pick up in Tampa Bay area. More info or pics on request. $100

What is a good price for one? I have a used one like yours that I think to offer up. The motor runs but does not cool. I'm assuming that there is a leak and that once fixed and recharged all will be cool (pun intended).
