Re: A Great Sailing Catamaran that is FULLY loaded

reposting my Pm to you as it may benefit other people..

Hello! The saildrives main seals were replaced shortly before I bought the boat at the end of 2010, I will have to see if I have the receipts for that (the previous owner handed over a lot of receipts and will have to see if the material and or labor is part of that). If not, if you are serious about purchasing, I can contact the previous owner and try to get more details.

Since owning the boat they have been trouble free for me. I just check the fluid level and make sure it is still clear about once a month. I did replace the transmission fluid that was in them with Delo, as per the new guidance from Volvlo Penta. Other then that I just change the zincs about every 6 months, the marina here is easy on them. I dive the boat myself about once every month to month and a half and clean the bottom (easier to do if I stay on top of it and can just use a rag). The bottom paint was put on back in 2010 and is still working well for me.

Rest of the boat is in excellent condition for boat of its age. I am rebuilding both heads now so those will be fresh, and everything else the maintenance is up to date and working properly. Let me know if you have any more questions.
