50' Catamaran

I am selling my husbands catamaran he has passed away and it needs quite a bit of work. I am unable to keep the boat. A lot of time and money has already went into getting the boat to the current condition. Boat is in San Diego. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Re: 50' Catamaran

Very sorry to hear of your loss but she is really something, could be lots of potential there from what I can make out in the pics, lovely full bows.

Any more details?

Hi Jaz ... have a chat with Kent at Just Catamarans in Florida (kent@justcatamarans.net). He is helping some people I know to move thier cats and I think would be a good 'sounding board' for you

Re: 50' Catamaran

FYI, I sent an email to Ed Horstmans site. Though I imagine he is getting on in years he did kindly reply to me. He said he didn't "know about this cat". Don't know what to make of that but decided this is too big for my needs. Good luck to who ever takes this on.

There are actually pictures of this boat in stages of construction on Ed's website. I do have the proper registration that can be transfered. It is USCG documented.

Re: 50' Catamaran

Hi Jaz,

Wow you are quick. All I can say is that is what Mr Horstman replied to me. But of course he is probably in his 80s and had misconstrued me as the seller, so maybe he didn't recollect your boat either. I thought I had looked over his website and didn't see anything but a few sketches of a 52' cat. My apologies. My only intent was to do a courtesy to Mr Horstman so he would not have to reply to multiple inquiries. I guess now he will have to. I hope he can shed some light on your boat for others. As I said, I've decided that this boat is about 10 feet longer than what I would like to end up with otherwise I would be more interested. I truly wish you the best in your sale. I looks like a good find for the right person.

Can you post a link to the part of his website showing the pictures. I am sure any interested party would find that most helpful.

Eric
