35' to 40' Monohull

OK,
Everyone if you can help me, Please!!

I'm looking for a Blue Water monohull that I can live aboard, perferably on the US West Coast.. (So. Cal.) I originally for Huntington Beach..
I can make repairs for normal stuff over time but, all in all I need a good sailboat to travel with...( Up and down the coast for now then to Hawaii)
The problem is, OK, please don't rag on me for saying this and giving this away but, I just need to find one honest and decent person looking to sale.. I have 30 Gs to buy it with... and to be able to move or stay where its at and live on it.. I would prefer a steel just because I know steel and could do repairs myself, welding or anyother that would need to be done...
I am looking for a boat that is set up like a Catalina 36',37',38' those are the ones I like how they're set up for space or even a Hardin Sea Wolf..

Please if you can help me locate something that is comparable to the above please email me and let me know..
Thank you all for your time and help...

Ken..

A lot of boat for the money and appears to be in good shape.. 40hp seems a little light for a 13t boat but I suppose it could be manageable.

Might be a great deal.
