33' LOA Catamaran - Iroqois $44,900 Completely rebuilt 2012

Please visit my website for more details and photos:
Flying Feather: A like-new Catamaran

This Iroquois MkI is a Fast Cruising Catamaran with rotating centerboards allowing her to draw only 1ft-2” of water Excellent for shallow water anchoring or motoring in those secluded backwater areas. For sailing the centerboards extend to 5’-9”. This Iroquois is very seaworthy and capable of speeds exceeding 18 knots in moderate winds. She is easy to handle and the autopilot enhances single handed operation.

33'? 34'?
I assume you are including the rudders, etc., since most Iroquois I am aware of are listed as 30' lod.

Re: 33' LOA Catamaran - Iroqois $44,900 Completely rebuilt 2012

The original boat, before being rebuilt was 30ft. We built a very nice s/s solar arch that extends the boat another 3ft. The arch is very useful when cruising as it incorporates the solar panels, dinghy davits, MOB Lifesling, EPIRB, spare VHF antenna, grille (oh so nice to grill off the back of the boat and have the drips fall into the water, the dinghy motor, boarding ladder, engine hoist, and a few other things as well. Made of thinwall 304 s/s the entire rig only weighs 85lbs.

So, INMHO, I think it adds 3ft to Flying Feather. And yes, you are correct, the rudders, when lifted, add to the length of the boat as far as slip length goes, but I am not counting the lifting rudders adding to her length.

Thank you for your comment.
