3/8 Gypsy for Maxwell Liberty windlass

Im looking to upgrade from 5/16th inch chain to 3/8 and need a new gypsy to do that. The Liberty windlass from Maxwell has been out of production for 10 years and they have no more stock.
If anyone has one kicking around (or wants to swap to a 5/16).
Let me know.
Im located in the Pacific NW.
Thanks
Gary

Gary,

If you can locate such a gypsy, be aware, there's many so called 3/8" gypsies, but they are actually varying quite a bit, and your chain may not work in it. When we went to Maxwell for a gypsy, Jim brought a short piece of chain, and the guy tried it in about eighteen different 3/8" gypsies to find the best fit.

Thanks for the heads up Ann
Luckily (or not) they only made 1 version of a 3/8 gypsy for the liberty series. If I do find one I will have to find chain that matches it. It seems (at least according to Maxwell) that ACCO or CMP chains will work with it.
FYI: The part number Im looking for is P101525 or 5220 depending on which parts list you reference.
Yes, I know I will have to replace the stripper and presser arm as well.
First I have to find one.

Good luck with finding what you're looking for, Gary.
