Well I just joined your forum today after many years looking and recieving inspiration. My girlfriend and I are selling our
Catalina in Seward, Ak and picking up our new home in
Puerto Vallarta at the end of the month. We have a few interested parties already but I figured we would also try
posting our
current home on here to see what everyone thinks! I have tons of photos that I will get up when I can or you can send me a private message and I can send them to you as well. We are asking $10,500 currently.
We are looking to sell our 27'
Catalina sailboat we have been
living aboard the past year. Its a great small sailboat for
learning for the
family or a singlehander with a big suite of
sails. Not originally meant for liveaboards in
Alaska but we have made it cozy, warm and able to stay off the grid. We spent last winter and spring cruising around exploring Resurrection Bay and Day Harbor.
This
boat is older (1971) but still in great condition. The
hull is great shape with a dry
bilge, standing and running
rigging are in good shape, and the
sails are all in good condition. Previous owners have raced this
boat single handed and the last owner sailed it north from
Seattle. We are selling as we have just bought a second boat to live on.
