Re: 26+' sailboat with wheel steering
Am I missing somthing? Seems what was said about the S2 is pretty standard used boat stuff, all of which is most likely true. And this is the internet where I can say whatever I want about your ugly kid. Its america, you dont like it, leave. An your wife cried, nice one but I dont buy that for a minute. So she crys over nothing? weird.

Re: 26+' sailboat with wheel steering
Now you have become one of the status quo.
You have just proved my point to why I wanted this thread deleted in the first place.
Btw,open your eyes, you can't call my kid ugly on the internet.
It's called cyberbullying.

Sensative arent we? This is silly ,we didnt even know that it was your boat until you got what you asked for, which was Revenge! S-2s are good boats and they sale own there own merits as do all boats, unless someone is so naive as to go on someones word alone ...good luck with the boat and it would help if you grew a thick skin, around here anyways!

Calling someone ugly on the net is not cyberbullying. You my friend, are very confused.

You only get bullied if you allow yourself to be bullied....if you cry over nothing, people laugh...just the way it is...
Personally, I would have given your s2 serious thought before I bought my current boat, if I were looking for another, I would consider it....I love the s2... My dock neighbor has one and I was very impressed with accommodations....
I just helped a good friend buy a hunter thirty, if your s two was around when he wqad looking a couple of weeks ago, I would have had him check it put for sure..
Thicken up that skin and get that boat sold, you won't have any problems selling a good s two around here, there are not many for sale.

We are actually just going to give her away to the right person for free.
We gotta' go.

Are you getting another boat or do you already have it?

Re: 26+' sailboat with wheel steering
We will get another boat when we get home to Arizona.
Where this journey started 4 years ago.

I have inquiries about our vessel to whom have read Jim's statements here on CF.
I said we are "considering"

WTF more do you want? ...........

She's the roughest of the boats that I saw, and was more of a project than I wanted, but she'd be a nice boat for someone willing to invest the time. The owner sailed her up from Miami via the ICW, so she's at least seaworthy!

.......in any event it is only you who has linked that boat to you on this thread (and even that "you" is an anonymous internet name - for all anyone actually knows you may be trying to drive down the price as a Buyer by making the Vendor look to be a mental PITA to deal with for others).
Obviously on CF "free speech" not an issue (Private Commercial forum = there is none. Seemples ) - but IMO the comments made seem fair and well within the play nice rule. Hell, they are even about boats! . The main black mark I can see against bothering to have a look at that boat is not the condition comments but the prospect of dealing with a Vendor from hell , and that impression has SFA to do with any buyer comments on the boat......
The rest of the internet? well, that not really a CF thing is it?
But Good luck with the lawyer thing .

Re: 26+' sailboat with wheel steering
Even tho' We have been advised from our lawyer,we do have ground to stand on,I am not going to pursue.
My satisfaction comes in finding a new good home for our boat.
