23' Hirondelle Crusing Catamaran & Trailer $14,000

"Good Enough" is a very unique pocket cruising catamaran. Her accommodations surpass any boat of her size, while retaining the functionality to be easily trailered and stored out of water. She outperforms multihulls and monohulls on nearly all points of sail and points exceptionally well, due to her daggerboard design. She is a joy to sail with her peppy response and comfort. This is an extremely capable boat that has sailed across the Atlantic from England to the United States. We're only selling to pursue our dreams of cruising and need something a little larger for a family of 4 on an extended cruise. We would consider trading up to a larger catamaran.

Deck & Equipment

"Good Enough" has been modified from the original design to allow for handicapped sailing and then to make more room in the cockpit and cabin. The cockpit area was expanded to the port side, converting the port aft berth underneath to storage. In addition, the motor well was removed and an adjustable motor bracket was installed on the transom. This expansion allowed for a hardtop installation with full height bulkhead and door, as well as steering console and storage. This makes for reasonable headroom in the cabin and cockpit. The removable and opening windows in the hardtop, along with her hatches, allow plenty of airflow in the cabin.

Electronics, Plumbing & Navigation

Jabsco Manual Head with 3 way Valve and 6 Gallon Holding Tank. Foot Operated Freshwater Galley Sink. Raymarine Speed and Transducer. Uniden VHF radio.

Roller Furling 150 Genoa, Fully Battened Main in serviceable condition. Two Harken Self Tailing Winches. Harken Jib Sheet Blocks, Main Traveler and Mainsheet Blocks recently replaced or serviced. Mast hinge steps forward on a new stainless hinge. Standing rigging in good shape.

Currently on Lake Keowee, SC (freshwater). Comes with trailer and delivery to anywhere in the SE can be arranged.
