1999 two stroke Nissan 9.8 outboard (long shaft); used as auxiliary engine aboard my 28' sailboat for the last eight years; purchased brand new in 2001. Asking 650.00 or best offer. Will consider 4 or 5 HP outboard in partial or total trade.

Work/maintenance performed during the last week (all work performed by outboard dealership):

-- new water pump impeller installed
-- carburetor rebuilt (new gaskets, float, float needle)
-- lower unit oil changed
-- new sacrificial zinc installed
-- new spark plugs installed
-- greased
-- propeller painted (OMC SystemMatch marine paint); prop in very good condition

-- alternator/rectifier installed to charge 12 volt battery (tested and working correctly)
-- spare alternator
-- two plastic 6-gallon Tempo gas tanks
-- fuel hose with primer bulb and end fittings
-- spare tool kit (that came with engine)
