For Sale: 1995 Volvo MD22 Diesel Engine

This Volvo MD22 Diesel engine is a 59hp unit built in 1995 and was laid up about 4 to 5 years ago. It presents as a very clean, low hour unit but there was no hour meter in the cold molded Alden 48 ketch that it was powering...a 30000 poung ketch. It starts quickly and runs cleanly. There is almost no corrosion and there are no signs of any of leaking seals anywhere. Pictures and full manufacturers specifications are available by following the attached link. It comes complete with basic panel and keys which are still attached and wired, transmission and motor mounts, gear shift linkage and gear shift attached, dual racor filters and 27 gallon fuel tank if desired. I believe that it is a drop in replacement for the Perkins 4/108 but please confirm your existing footprint with the detail drawing on the link below. The current retail for this unit is around $10,500 to $11,500. I am seeking offers around half of this amount. The local Volvo dealership is available for survey and condition appraisal. Delivery within 300 miles of SanFrancisco Bay included. I'm in process of taking updated actual photos and they'll be available asap.
