Good additional things to point out. She has no blisters and has never had them.

For those of you unfamiliar with island Packets- they are cruising boats, with a modified full keel (angled down from the bow). She is 19,000 pound displacement. As a cutter rig, with full keel, she is a dream on a reach. She will not point as well as a fin keel, she will go about 45-60 off the wind, the stronger the wind, the higher she will point. I don't really think about reefing until the wind hits 25 knots. She sails along nicely in strong winds at 7-8 knots. Unlike what some people say, these boats will sail in light winds. I have sailed her in under 8 knots with just the genoa and she will move along.

All lines lead to the cockpit, I am generally a single hander and have had no problems sailing her solo. I single handed her to the Bahamas from Annapolis, part inside and part outside without a problem.

She has handled some really lousy weather in trips to Bermuda. These boats handle large waves and high winds very well, they are solid boats. As a cutter rig, you have mulitple sail combinations to handle various wind conditions.

Fuel wise- depends on how you run her, of course. I generally got 1 hour per gallon of diesel.

Island Packet has been bought out by Hake Yachts, and while there is some talk about them producing more IPs, I doubt the quality will be the same.
