About 8months ago. We've done this with the last 3 cats, buy them then keep them for a season. Gets us out of the cold weather in the winter and keeps me busy tinkering with them. It's time to find a boat we can keep for more than one season.

Solar takes care of all charging. Batteries are usually topped up by 1:00pm. The gas tank is located under the cockpit floor and it there are any fumes they drain through the bridgedeck. Probably 99% of the boats in the world are outboard powered yet it's rare to hear of any gasoline related problems.

That would be going the opposite direction! We need to have less $ tied up in a boat.
