Hmmm........ with the prevailing Noreaster, is that downwind?

Don't you know that the wind and weather is always perfect in the Caribbean?
Actually a lot of the nor'easters don't make it that far south. Some certainly do, usually the big mean ones that will kick your posterior.
Just for yucks I looked at the GRIBS on passageweather.com. Winds in the VI are east around 10 kts. There is the low centered a couple hundred miles north of PR moving east with calms in the center and north winds on the east edge. If you skirt the southern edge of that low you will have winds 10-15 kts, NE to NNE all the way to FL.
8 days out shows the leading edge of the next front reaching S FL with winds starting to shift to the north ahead of the front.
Maybe not dead downwind but a nice reach all the way. Sounds like a dream cruise to me but might hang on the west side of the Bahamas and recheck weather before crossing the stream.
Man I really want to go sailing.

Re: 1993 Lagoon 37 (TPI built) Owners non chartered catamaran
Hi,
I wonder if this vessel is still for sale?
I am a broker and have sold one of these before. Sweet boats
I ahve a client who is using me as his buyers broker and has asked me to approach you on his behalf.
I am not sure of the protocol here so hopefully not treading on any toes or breaking any rules.
If the vessel is still for sale and you are interested in selling to my client please contact me.
thanx

Re: 1993 Lagoon 37 (TPI built) Owners non chartered catamaran
Having a posting issue. if this is a repeat post, sorry.
Spirit airline (spirit.com) has travel on 4/7 = 262.00 and return 4/13 = 149.00
flying out of Atlantic CIty to St Thomas. With Spirit, their fares are all over the place, so you have to pick travel time to reflect price value.
thanks,
joe

Last here in '95. looked a bit more sub-tropic in the pic like New
Caledonia.
