Re: 1980 S2-9.2a sailboat for sale

florida keys... marathon..

and oh yea, price... that might help...

$17,500

and that is for everything....dingy and motor, brand new honda generator alone are adding a couple thousand dollars...

the bill of sale will be written out to reflect the cost of the boat as being low so as to make sure you pay the correct tax... ... all the accessories will be written up seperately so you dont have to pay sales tax to the state for things not required to be taxed...

this will save almost $1000

I will also be available to assist and familiarize the new owner with the boat... I know every bolt and wire on the boat and will make sure the new owner is comfortable...

Sea trials are available for sincere buyers after offer is made and accepted, (conditional upon positive sea trial)
I am not in a big rush or rally wanting to sell... but, I do need to take care of some medical issues first...

Hi,

Is the S2 still available?

Do you have a few more pictures you can share?

I'm in the Tampa area and I'm quite interested.

Thanks.

Re: 1980 S2-9.2a sailboat for sale

i am working on the pics... my phone is having problems with taking pics and getting them uploaded to my pc...

I was in tampa area and just sailed her down to the keys...

Im also in the process of either rebuilding the bimini or replacing it... the binimi that is onboard now is kinda lame... it is a flat-top type of aluminum tube frame... and the canvas is gone, so I have a tarp stretched over it...

it works well, but it looks lame...

the mainsheet and traveler are on the rear of the boom so a bimini wont go past the helm, so the choices are to have two biminis, one if front of the traveler and the other a little taller and behind the traveler/helm...

or

I could relocate the traveler to above the cabin/companion way or below the companionway hatch... both of which would restrict/encroach on the access into the cabin...

the original flat top bimini kinda collapsed last weekend due to heavy rains... the flat top design doesnt drain water fast enough/well... the regular bimini type will make the access into the cockpit a bit more difficult also...

anyways, I will post pics as soon as a can...

thanks
