Perkins 4-108
Engine with Borg Warner Velvet drive
gearbox and Walter V-drive (15degrees)
Engine has 6200 hours and is in very good condition. Never rebuilt. It does not use
oil and does not smoke. It does drip small amounts of
oil as do all 4-108s due to design of rear seal.
New oil cooler and stainless mesh covered hoses last summer.
1 year old
heat exchanger.
Instrument panel with oil, temperature, and Ammeter gauges &
wiring harness included.
Spares include: 4 extra injectors, extra
water pump">raw
water pump, extra fresh
water pump, and starter. New in 1994, but never installed 120Amp Powerline model 23-11
alternator also
for sale.
Being removed from Valiant 40 in July 2010. To be replaced by larger engine. This package is complete and ready to install in your
boat.
I will consider selling the components separately, but prefer to sell as a package. If you need the spares
