This vessel was built in Costa Mesa,
California, by Cruising Consultants who later
sold the line to
Pacific Seacraft. She has been repowered with a
Yanmar 3HM35F with a solid shaft, stuffing box, and 3-blade prop in the skeg aperture as they were designed (some of the early
Crealock 37s have
Volvo diesels and sail-drive systems).
She has been extensively refitted (mid 90's) with new
rigging,
sails,
galley and chart-table remodels, upholstery,
Monitor windvane, Alpha
Spectra autopilot (below-decks),
diesel heat,
power anchor windlass,
dodger, and much more.
Sails include main, mizzen, 120%
genoa, hank-on working
jib,
storm jib, asymmetrical cruising
spinnaker, tri-radial
spinnaker, and mizzen staysail. All
rigging terminals are Stay-Lok
stainless steel.
